man and their complicated mental wiring

I wonder why man, woman, and everything in between need to make everything so complicated. man - just needs complication in life, needs so much baggage. why isn't a cup of tea just taken as a cup of tea. an apple, as an apple. why are we all wired to have so much complication in-built in us. why can't we see how simplicity is the ultimate answer to all answers. why can't "we need to have a chat" just be a chat? why does it ever need to be so complicated when it doesn't need to. humans, we're just a pile of complicated beings when put together. so much problems, issues, miscommunication, mistrust, over-analyzing and what not.
