vomiting so bad and hard just by looking at some slutbag uttering some whore comments over facebook.
"so... when are you gonna rock with your cock? i wanna see"?
wow. by a girl? on a public social platform? this is repulsive. really dead repulsive. i wonder where that places her in society? a whore?
2 words: MAGNIFICENTLY unbelievable. someone's got the balls.
can't imagine this sort of shit on someone else's boyfriends wall. let alone my boyfriend's wall.
scum. seriously. scum.

iphone pic dump for the week
my pile of image dump coming straight from my iphone.
from helping shawn with his exhibition setup, to attending the exhibition opening, to having coffee with a bunch of friends, having ice milk tea hong kong style at a tea house round the corner, to saturday brunch at a quiet curry house hideout at dempsey road to just chilling out on my couch with my dog and sketching away.
whats next, weekend? ♥

Turning the Place Over - Richard Wilson, 2007
Turning the Place Over - Richard Wilson, 2007 from Liverpool Biennial on Vimeo.
" The most daring piece of public art ever commissioned in the UK, Turning the Place Over is artist Richard Wilson's most radical intervention into architecture to date, turning a building in Liverpool's city centre literally inside out. One of Wilson's very rare temporary works, Turning the Place Over colonises Cross Keys House, Moorfields. It runs in daylight hours, triggered by a light sensor.
Turning the Place Over consists of an 8 metres diameter ovoid cut from the façade of a building in Liverpool city centre and made to oscillate in three dimensions. The revolving façade rests on a specially designed giant rotator, usually used in the shipping and nuclear industries, and acts as a huge opening and closing 'window', offering recurrent glimpses of the interior during its constant cycle during daylight hours. "

sunday is iPhone day
indeed, sunday is iPhone day for shawn and i. shawn picked up the tabs for 2 iphones. why of course, one of them sets is mine! a pre-birthday present, he says. lol. so that makes us both, finally, iPhone owners. iPhone 3Gs. awesome indeed. am liking the camera with the auto focus so far. unlike the iphone 3G with the fixed focus that takes a heck load of blur shots. can't wait to take it to work tomorrow! :D

tong shui cafe
my little sister and i headed out for a nice evening snack over at Tong Shui Cafe, Bukit Timah which was just round the corner of our house. it was cosy. the deco was rather loud and all over the place. but you kind of got the geez of it that its a Hong Kong style cafe.
we had nissin noodles with sunshine eggs and ham with special fishcake, lotus leaf rice dim sum, crazily cheese-y fries which was really very veryy cheesey. seriously generous serving of cheese, which we LOVE so very much. oh, not forgetting delicious hong kong milk tea to boot. the food was pretty good, authetic hong kong. the place was just nice to hang around at to chit chat and have tea/ yum cha anytime of the day. just wished they could skip those mandarin songs for canto-pop. that would have completed the whole HK vibe.
the price is pretty average, i would say an average of 10-25$/ head? there's a +7% for GST/ tax, and another +10% service charge to take note of. our bill totaled up to 23.65$ (pickles, wet towels, a bowl of their recommended soup noodles, one lotus leaf rice tim sum dish, a cheese fries side snack and 2 cuppa hot milk tea) inclusive of tax and service charge. a lot of top favorites recommended on the menu. kind of tempted us to come back for more, which we will!
wet rainy weather, awesome and warm food, a lot of nonsense yakking. great remedy to rid off that wet monday blues.

sunday of flea and shopping
sunday was interesting. after a long while, i managed to catch up with my mom and my little sister for lunch at a nearby authentic japanese restaurant for lunch. then headed down to the singapore flyer where there's a flea market going on, picked up a couple of stuff. before heading down to orchard road for more shopping! heck of a workout.
managed to pick up some stuff for work, like a lovely purple tube dress from the flea. a nice sunny yellow dress for a sunday out, a nice flowery halter tube top from a little boutique. and a nice cashmere cardigan from japanese store, Muji. picked up a couple of other little knic-knacs from the flea, some cosmetics over the shu uemura counter, and free endless admiration of nice glizzy jewelery as we strolled down the shopping stretch.
simply can't wait for the next sunday to come. :)
