our dear friend, jerald niko, took the plunge down from his apartment last monday morning.

silly of him, but he has his reasons for doing so. we all hope he has found his best pal at the astral bar he talked about. we feel bad as a friend. as if we all haven't done enough for him to stop him from doing so. but it also seemed like his heart has been set on meeting brian over at the other side. we just hope he has found everything he has been looking for.

to me, jerald has been such a character. silly, humorous, easy going. there's never a boring moment when he's around us. to shawn alike, he's a little brother in our hearts. if only we let him know how much he meant to us, instead of assuming he already knew.

dear jerald, we hope it's not too late. we sincerely want you to know that you mean a lot in our hearts. it's unfortunate that we didn't write too much in that guestbook you painstaking made. we were all in utter shock. but we need you to know and want you to know that you'll always be in the hearts of shawn and i, and many more of us. we love you, jerald. take care.

ps. shawn hopes you saw the present he made for you. we're so sorry we're one step too late. nonetheless,  it's printed and framed. finally. we hope you like it. :)

this is the amount of activity going on in my office. for an hour. from 5 - 6.
yup, that's what we do in the office. making mirror balls and shooting time lapses.
well, other than sending mails, making calls and of 'cos stalking potential clients and people on facebook and websites. :)

month of lazy

a hoy! its been a couple weeks since i wrote something here on this very page. came close to forgetting my blog's existence. it's been a period of busy, and lazy, and sleep catch ups. it's work, settling on some skills upgrade, a lot of personal reading to catch-up, settling with domestic household cock-ups (which is hectic! from a dead microwave, to constant pours making my home too damp for productiveness, the list goes on) and yes chilling out with my family, my boyfriend and my dog.

nonetheless, with all that (perhaps 65%?) done. i am here! yes! in the wee hours of the night. and hell i still have work tomorrow. i am here just to share a photo of my tiny little purchase from ikea. :) i love ikea, who doesn't. wonderland of color and affordable furniture which you delight yourself in all that do-it-yourself engagements and accomplishments. to hell with its durability, with a price tag like that and such swanky colors hanging around in your turf, what more can one ask for?

so there you have it! nippley-kitty-kat striking a sassy pose, a nice yellow stool (so happy to add this to my stool collection), and glasses at a dollar a glass!

unfortunate...

... but am down with a some viral infection. had a jab yesterday afternoon, followed by some strong dosage of antibiotics. making me pretty drowsy.

going easy on my stomach with loads of leafy greens, fruits and soup. just a sneak on what i've having on my menu. a little passe, but here's my smoked salmon salad which i served up late last week. generous servings of smoked salmon with crunchy beef tomatoes, luscious baby green lettuces and chucky carrots. dressed with my absolute fav, balsamic vinegar.

my bad, been neglecting this space. should be having my roll in my little holga done soon, send it for washing, will be able to post up my roll soon. :)
